'Dumdededum, dumdededdum!' With only three weeks to go until Wills and Kate's Big Day, wedding fever is reaching fever pitch here at Grazia HQ - and across the world, too. As we noted yesterday, our American chums are fabulously enthusiastic about riding the Royal Wedding wave and to add to their (and, obvs, our) hysteria, New York Bridal Week is underway in the Big Apple. Yes!

While fash-land watches more intensely than ever, designers including Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera have presented their Spring 2012 bridal collections, treating us to utterly feminine and frothy delights. Granted, bets are on Miss Middleton wearing a British designer come 29 April (pick up the new issue for deets on the latest contender in the Great Dress Mystery) but that doesn't mean we can't picture her in one – or two, or three! – of these beauties. Besides, groom or no groom, who needs an excuse to while away at least, ooh, sixty minutes cooing over wedding dresses? Well, exactly.
Let’s begin with Carolina Herrera’s brides who glided down the aisle catwalk surrounded by pretty white cherry blossoms. We’re loving the striking black accents on frou-frou skirts, accessorised by pink and noir belts and bouquets, while avant-garde colour-block bustles, complete with adorbz butterflies, also brought a refreshing edge to the traditional white-slash-ivory palette. ‘I love bridal shows because they are so full of hope, feeling and dreams,’ Herrera trilled. ‘The music is divine, the runway is covered with flowers and everyone is happy’ >wipes tear from eye<
Of course, us girlie girls can always rely on Marchesa to make our dress dreams come true so it comes as no surprise that the fashion house’s latest bridal offering is a breathtaking vision in white, with sheer, embroidered sleeves and delicate appliques on sleek trumpet silhouettes >swoon<
