The Tottenham and England footballer Peter Crouch and the model Abbey Clancy were married on Thursday, in front of around 120 family and friends at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire.

The television star Clancy, 25, wore a bespoke dress by the designer Giles Deacon with a tight strapless white bodice and full, floor-length skirt. Clancy has previously modelled for Deacon. She clutched a simple white bouquet as she and the tall striker posed for photos at the gate of the smart country house.
The couple were married in a simple ceremony at the church of St Mary Magdalene, within the 500-acre estate near Melton Mowbray. Crouch, 30, wore a black three-piece suit with a white tie. The pair, who have a three-month-old daughter, Sophia Ruby, have been together for five years. They later held a reception at the Orangery within the grounds.
