A bride's big day was nearly stampeded Sunday when the horses pulling her wedding buggy got spooked, jumped onto a car and then ran into a traffic pole — minutes before she was supposed to get on board.

Nunzie Lumberto, 27, was waiting for her fairy tale-like buggy to pull up and take her to Regina Hall of St. Rosalie's in Brooklyn's Dyker Heights neighborhood at 1:50 p.m.

A wooden bar under the buggy snapped as it was a block from where Lumberto was waiting, smacking one of the horses in the rear and scaring both animals into a gallop.Fady Tawadrous, 29, was in his car waiting at a traffic light when the rumbling steeds came charging in his direction.

"I saw two horses that weren't under control come running down 12th Avenue, dragging a carriage," said Tawadrous, who had just left church with his wife, father and baby. "They jumped onto my car," he said, pointing to his shattered windshield and dented hood."It was terrifying," he said.
