The setting couldn't have been more cinematic. Sunset on one of Hawaii's beautiful beaches. But for Megan Fox there was only one choice of leading man. These exclusive pictures bear witness to the 24-year-old actress's biggest role to date - as the blushing bride made a stunning entrance as she prepared to wed fiancé Brian Austin Green.
Swathed in a strapless white Armani Privé gown complete with a flowing16ft-long train, carrying a bouquet of gardenias and white roses, Megan looked like a textbook bride for her wedding to the former 90210 actor. In these newly released pictures, Megan is seen strolling barefoot along the beach in a wedding which bore few hallmarks of a typical Hollywood nuptials.
The couple were married on June 24th in an intimate ceremony, conducted on a deserted beach in Hawaii at sunset last month, to the sound of waves lapping on the shore. Megan and Brian who had been dating for six years on and off before tying the knot, were wed at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu.
A local kahuna - Hawaiian priest - performed the ceremony. Green's eight-year-old son Kassius - from his relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil - was the only witness and performed various duties. He wore a jade bracelet blessed with ocean water for the occasion. The former Beverly Hills 90210 star also chose all-white Armani for the ceremony. They were beyond happy, and they seemed so comfortable,' said a friend of the couple.
'They decided a long time ago that they belonged with each other. It's the first marriage for the pair who met on the set of Hope And Faith back in 2004. Fox was just 18 when she met the ex-90210 actor, who was 30 at the time, and the pair have been on and off ever since.
They first got engaged in 2007 before Fox broke it off in February 2009 before they became engaged again earlier this year. Fox previously opened up about her future marriage plans: 'I've been in this relationship so long and I love [Brian] so much,' she said. 'And of course [marrriage is] in the future somewhere.
'I'm not closed to that idea. I just think If you're going to [get married], if you're going to be with someone and make a commitment, it's good to tell the universe, to say I'm committing to this person and making them my family.' Meanwhile, the actress has said her personal life 'keeps her grounded' and doesn't let fame go to her head.
